4. Account and Subscription Tiers

StatsCalculators.com offers different service tiers:

• Free Tier (Anonymous or Registered): Access to all calculators with browser-based result storage. No account required for basic usage.
• Pro Tier: Includes cloud storage for results, project organization, enhanced AI report generation capabilities, and additional features. Requires a paid subscription.
• Researcher Tier: Includes all Pro features plus increased storage, higher usage limits, and priority support. Requires a paid subscription.

We reserve the right to modify tier features, pricing, and availability at any time with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payment Terms and Subscriptions

For paid subscription tiers (Pro and Researcher):

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) as selected during purchase
• Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card information
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for refund requests
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by StatsCalculators.com and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

The information and tools on this website are provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. While we make significant efforts to ensure accuracy, including testing and comparing results to industry standards, we cannot guarantee that the tools will meet your requirements or be error-free. You assume full responsibility for verifying the results before applying them to critical or sensitive use cases.

8. Data Usage and Storage

Data handling varies based on how you use our service:

• Anonymous Usage: Calculation data is processed in your browser and not transmitted to our servers
• Browser Storage: When you save results locally, data remains on your device only
• Cloud Storage (Pro/Researcher): Your saved results, projects, and preferences are stored securely in our database. You can delete this data at any time
• Shared Results: When you share results via link, only the calculation outputs (not raw input data) are stored on our servers for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted
• AI-Generated Reports: Reports generated using AI services may be processed through third-party AI providers. Generated reports are not stored unless you explicitly save them

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., payment processing through Stripe, authentication through Supabase). See our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, though we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
